ELECTRICAL PROPARTIES OF NANOPARTICLE SPINELS

The electrical properties of nanoparticle materials are influenced by many parameters. They are
1. Method of preparation
2. Cation distribution
3. Grain size
4. Sintering temperature
5. Oxygen parameter
6. Ratio of Fe2+/Fe3+ ions
7. Oxygen anion vacancies and
8. ac conductivity.

So far there exists no convincing reports on dc conductivity, dielectric and ac conductivity studies of nanoparticles, which can give an idea about the conduction mechanism in these materials in the fine particle regime.
